quiet enermax-like powersupply

i've got an Award brand 250w power supply that is pretty loud and doesn't seem to be moving very much air in terms of cooling. I like the extra fan on the enermax whisper series that helps move air from the case to the outside. I was thinking about modding my current PS by adding an 80 or 92mm fan on the bottom side of the power supply, but its still gonna be loud. are there any 250w power supplies out there similar to the enermax? the enermax costs $50+ for 330w which I don't really need. Only need about 250w.

Not that the extra wattage would hurt anything (in fact, it would contribute to a more stable system), you might want to try this Enermax Whisper EG285P-VE (FC) @ Pham Computer:

hmm...i was hoping the less power from the PS would be cheaper and save me the $$. Otherwise, i wouldn't mind the extra power from the PS . I really want a cheaper $25-35-ish maybe PS that is quiet too and hopefully, has 2 fans to help cool the system.

Actually the 275 Enermax's are like $45 Canadian....but a hard find

How about just throwing a quiet Panaflo L1A 80mm fan in the power supply you have now? While you're at it, use a diagonal cutter to remove any grillework that the fan has to blow air through. If you have a wire grille, you can remove it, although they're not so restrictive.
