Quiet fans or heatsinks?

Because of loud fans, I need recommendations for replacing the fans on the following cards:

ATI Radeon 9600 XT (used in a desktop, no special requirements other than to get rid of the terrible noise it is making now)

Nvidia 7300 LE (used in an HTPC, must be very, very quiet)

Please be specific as to brand or product name, please. Don't just say "use a heatsink" or "get the same fan" since I'm not sure where to get them.

I believe the Zalman VF700 is compatible with the 9600XT, and will do a good job of cooling it. Check the website before buying though, but you should be in the clear.

That 7300LE is a bit trickier - you should double-check with Arctic Cooling, but their Accelero S2 cooler does list compatibility with the 7300 cards, and is fanless to boot. You can get their (proprietary?) fans for the setup if your HTPC doesn't have good case airflow, but I don't know much about their Turbo Module fans. I've got a 92mm Arctic Cooling fan on my processor and I can't hear it running full-tilt, but that might not be an indicator for all their fans.

Does the fan for the 7300 need to fit in the same space as the stock fan? is there a card in the next pci slot? I have a 7300 in the closet and if you have room I'm sure a nice mod could be fashioned.

If you have the space and case airflow, passive is the way to go.

I took a gander at mine and it is a passive HS that I installed a sythe kaze 40mm fan onto.
For $16 I second Zap

Don't some 7300 LE's come passively cooled?

Is there a way to use a quiet fan or heatsink that costs less than these solutions?

I'd also like to see an NV Silencer for the new 8800 series cards. Having the hot air from your video card exhausted out of the case directly was great. They were very quiet to boot.
