You're not going to quit. I can tell because you're marking the time. If you're done...you're done. No reason to mark how long it's been in groups of 7 days or groups of 4 weeks...
Bull
I quit on July 5, 2006.
Time difference from today (Wednesday, October 14, 2009):
3 years 3 months 9 days ago
39 months 9 days ago
1197 days ago
855 weekdays ago
3.277 years ago
so, by posting that I'm going to pick it up again?
GL OP , keep it up, I really believe cold turkey's the only way to go.

a) memorize a date
b) subtract
are correlated with inability to quit.
Done being snooty, Mr Analogy?
Come on, guys. He's posting after only three weeks, not years or decades. He's obviously looking for positive reinforcement to aid in abstaining from smoking. In my experience, when people do that, they're right on the verge of picking it up again. He's looking for social support and encouragement.
It
is tough to quit. I had tried a few times and failed. I came up with a decent way of quitting and it worked for me. I've posted it here before. I'll try and dig it up.
