I stopped getting Quiznos subs when I realized Publix had better, cheaper ones that were infinitely more cuztomizable.

I love their sandwiches but they are simply overpriced so I never go there unless I find a really good coupon.

I'm cheap when it comes to food and they are expensive. My be some really inefficient heaters they run the food through that warrants such a high price over other sandwich shops.

I've heard horror stories about the way corporate treats people who own the franchises.

If true that's death to any company. The franchisees are what make the company money.

Very true, most break even and the few that stay in the black operate on little profit. Owners end up making less than 20k per year. Quizno's "taxes" them out of business like a liberal Democrat.

The mom and pop sandwich shops are where you get the best sandwiches.

Especially those in the northeastern states that have been in business for many decades. I can think of a few from that area that I'd pay top dollar to have here in the south right now.

No surprise, given the 'contemptuous' way corporate has been described as treating their franchisees, shoving coupons down their throats and opening a new one down the street as soon as another one starts making money.

They did exact thing where I lived in FL. Approximatly 1 mile from my condo was a grocery store with shops and resteraunts, uncluding a Quiznos. Just before I moved away a new Quiznoes opened out in front of my condo. I don't know how they expect to stay in business. The town doesn't have enough people to support two so close together.

Publix Subs have a pretty strong following with people in Florida.

Can someone explain how these Quiznos coupons work, how much you save with them on a regular sub, and where you can find them? (if they still do them)

They are good, but, you have to wait with the crowds in the Deli line (they have a second line for subs) so it takes a bit of time (especially during lunch hour). Subway is typically much faster, so bit of a tradeoff.

I have 2 Quizno's by me, and they are always empty. I tried both once, and never went back to either. Why pay $10, when I can get a better sub for $4 at Quick Check?

Ask them not to put the weird sauce on your food. I always .. i mean always tell them not to add the seasoning to my sandwich. Sometimes they forget and usually make me a new sandwich. I mean i always tell them like 4 times in a nice way please dont put it. Its a habit and when they turn around and start shaking i say, "not that". So they usually pull off that meat with the seasoning and add some fresh meat.

iTS NOT Burger king, but you can have it your way.

I stopped going to both Subway and Quiznos when I realized Publix pretty much did the same thing, only much better. If you think Quiznos is expensive then you should see Miami Subs, its like you're paying $5 for the infinite amount of lettuce they put on the thing.

It's basically supermarket like Safeway, Kroger, Osco, Jewels, etc. It's slightly more upscale than a Kroger but not by much. Their subs are ok with Boar's Head meat but nothing special.

I remember when we had a Quiznos about 5 minutes away from my house. It was great cause when I was in highschool I could go down there and get one of their subs for like 32 cents since I knew the people that worked there. I went there so much that I probably had a small hand in the closing of the store. Oh well...

The Boars Head Philly Cheese Steak and Hot Pressed Cuban are awesome.
