Qwest email banned?

Since USWest was taken over by Qwest a while back my email adress will be changing from zeeliv@uswest.net to zeeliv@qwest.net, so I go to change it to that in my profile and it tells me that email is banned. What's up with that? I did several seaches and see no mention of it. I understand a lot of emails are banned such as freemail ones and AOL, but Qwest?!

The USWest address should still work for another year or so. If you leave your AT address as zeeliv@uswest.net, it should still get delivered. After that year, though, you'll have to either find another address, or convince the mods to un-ban that e-mail domain.

All this banning is getting out of hand. Not just here but elsewhere online, too. As "reputable" ISPs seem to be on the decline, the scum of humanity must flock to them and ruin their reps. too. The future doesn't look good.

A couple of weeks ago, we had a particularly obnoxious troll in Hot Deals. Our records showed five accounts for qwest. Four for the troll and one that had not been used for months.

We have now unlocked qwest.net. If the troll returns, we will try to deal with him by other means.
