thanks for the well wishes guys.
We worked together, it's going to be so hard when I return to work and he's not there.
Unfortunately he took matters into his own hands. My family is devastated. He was always everyone's rock, we're at a complete loss.
I hope you don't put any blame yourself. Hopefully his wife and kids won't feel guilt either. When someone is determined to take their own life there is usually nothing anyone can say or do to stop them.
Alright... maybe you won't like this, but if we were face to face this would be my reply, "did he think he was going to make his wife regret divorcing him by killing himself?" It's a sad if that was his motive. I guess it's sad regardless of what his motive was. Don't you just want to ring his neck right now and tell him that no woman, no one, is worth that???Thank you. Hopefully his wife does feel a great deal of guilt, they were seperated and divorcing, and her most recent actions were what drove him over the edge.

I wish I had called him Monday night, but I know in my heart that based on his actions, that it likely would have not made a difference.

And you are right, a phone call wouldn't have changed his mind. I am glad you realize that, and I hope you can heal Mikey. I know right now it hurts like hell.
