R420: anyway to positive ID X800XT?

Bought an X800XT off ebay that came with a AC4 cooler but the PCB info sticker was removed. Using ATi TrayTool It's bios info says its an X800XT with 256mb of DDR3 doing 500MHz core and mem. seems to work pretty good for $135 that I paid, but I would like to be able to ID what it was origionally.

if there is no hard ID and the bios has been tabmpered with then there is no way.

It could have been a flashed x800gto. But if it performs like a XT and looks like a XT then I dont see what the problem is. With a XT bios and no stickers there's no other way of knowing what the card may have been originally.

Thanks guy's, kinda what I figured. The mem chips are Samsung 1.6ns so it could be an origional X800XT maybe
