That one doesn't make sense since the 7950GX2 can't do AA+HDR and they fail to mention that.

With these cards' fill-rates and bandwidth a review concentrating only on a mere 4xAA at a decent resolution isn't going to show much.

It's probably fake, but if it's real I hope ATi can offer something better in terms of IQ since a G80 already gets good frames. (C'mon, who cares if it is beating the G80 in Doom3 at over 100 frames? 100 is just as good as 200) Hopefully ATi can get their act together with Adaptive AA or at least use something else that works when it's suppose to.

I bet they are right about the GDDR3 being used first, but, who knows.

Actually I expect the r600 to ship initially with ddr4. What's the point of going back to ddr3 when they've already used ddr4 in the x1950xtx? Also, they don't even mention what clockspeeds the r600 gpu is runing.

Seems BS to me.

From what I've heard there will be different models with different ram. Something like XTX w/ GDDR4 and an XT w/ GDDR3.

These early specifications and launch dates line up with what DailyTech has already published and are present on ATI internal roadmaps as of workweek 49.

When DailyTech contacted the site owner to get verification of the benchmarks, the owner replied that the benchmark screenshots could not be published due to origin-specific markers that would trace the card back to its source -- the author mentioned the card is part of the Microsoft Vista driver certification program.

If Level505's comments seem a little too pro-ATI, don't be too surprised. When asked if the site was affiliated in any way to ATI or AMD, the owner replied to DailyTech with the statement that "two staff members of ours are directly affiliated with AMD's business [development] division."

Might not be BS after all...

The 10nm ATI R600 advantage alone can equate to better performance.

a lot of leaks & specs that are out today have some truth in them. We just have to pick out the ones that sound realistic. All I know is that I will be getting a new video card sometime around spring time when more dx10 cards will be released, as well as the stated "revision" in this article.

I see no point in getting an R600 or any other DX10 card until Alan Wake, Crysis, UT2007, Bioshock, Frontlines Fuel of War and Quake Wars are available.

I do. I would love to have a more powerful card for SC - DA and if this card can run it with max details or if Nvidia can fix their issues with it I'll be in the market for one. DX10 GPU's are great for DX9 games.
