I didn't expect it to be this good. It's putting a thumping on Titan and every other single GPU card out there. This must be the reason for the 780ti, nvidia is trying to catch up, not retake the lead.
Are we looking at the same graphs?
BF3 1080p - Good showing by the 290X here, beats out the Titan and 780 handily. What is up with the 780 SLI and 7970 Xfire though? CPU limited, or were these benches done before the multi-card drivers were working?
Crysis 1080p - Even with the 780, and about even with the Titan. Average FPS is barely playable though...
Metro LL 1080p - Even with the 780, Titan has the better showing here. Good 60FPS average.
BF3 3x1080p - Good showing by the 290X again, beats the Titan and 780 by a good margin. Although I would lower a couple settings for more playable FPS, especially in multiplayer.
Crysis 3x1080p - Nothing worth mentioning is playable, need to lower settings. Looks like we need 2 or more cards at those settings.
Metro LL 3x1080p - Again, nothing I would consider playable. Mutli-card is needed at those settings.
