cheers to comunity ,
guys im worried about something strange in Furmark Burn in test.I checked my videocard R9 fury X if is working fine.I choose to test burn in preset 1920x1080 for 15 minutes.I want to say card is going to 65 degree max,and 22 degree min. After 10 minutes of furmark test I lose signal from video(black screen) for about 15-20 second, but after this 20 sec image was returned to normal without restarting and finish test without problem.I want to say during the test card have NO artifact.
It is normal to shut down image in furmark for 15-20sec after minute 10?My video card is going down?I should be worried?
I decide to make test because sometime my image freezing with buzz loud noise and im not sure 100% if is gpu fault. My temp on idle is hit 17-19 on video card, and CPU 30-35C.
Any advice?and thx in advance.
l.e the card was never OC and I don t intend to do that.

I don t have many driver for windows 8.1 pro.The latest driver for fury x is crimson 17.7.1 and is from 4 july 2017,and 17.4.4 from 20 apr 2017
With all drivers make same.
I know, for windows 10 is adrenalin from 2019 but I hate that OS
I don t know why AMD don t make anymore driver for win 8.1 pro and they make only for win 10

My advice would be to stop using Furmark to test your video card.

It's completely unrealistic.

trust me I don t use furmark I just wanted to sure the card don t have hide problem, that's why I tested for 15 minutes. And furmark is the only 3rd party program who can test stability video card,I don t know another program.
ok I understand,I don t use anymore furmark
I wanted to say first time when I installed the card I receive the message:Graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered, and I set TDR in regedit to value 8 I downclock in bios speed memory ram from 1866 to 1600 and for now it seems fine, the message don t appear, but sometime my image freezing with buzz loud noise and all I can do is to press hard reset. Not to mention sometime when I watch a movie,or I navigate on youtube, I hear a short buzz noise and disappear. In games or in another application the card is OK no artifact,no overheating, but was bothering me is that buzz loud noise and I don t know and don't understand why is doing that.I have many video card and all card doing fine, but this fury X Is the first video card who have annoying behavior

Never do any form of testing with Furmark. It's nothing, but a power virus that makes your hardware operate in a manner it will never do in a real uses case. It doesn't even work correctly because AMD detects it and forces the card to not cook itself. Use any other GPU benchmark. 3dMark, Heaven, etc....

As far as the noise and then crash. I've had those symptoms when Windows hard crashes on buggy beta builds. Driver crashes can cause the noise too. They can happen for any type of crash though. If you don't overclock and your temps look good it's possible your PSU is dying and gets unstable. Buy a PSU tester. It could be the drivers or it could just be Windows needing to be reinstalled. It could be the card dying. I'd always start with wiping Windows and reinstalling everything fresh because it's something you can eliminate. You really should get off Win 8.1 because of the waning support. Updating to a new driver is the only way to know if it's the driver.

I don t understand why AMD concern only on win 10 with drivers? Why they forgot older OS like win 7 or 8?
I hate win 10!
later edit: I want to say, I forgot to mention.I have that buzzing loud noise following by freezing only when I started gpu-z

AMD doesn't support Win7 or 8.1 because Microsoft ended support for the operating systems.

if it is as you say why for GeForce is still available drivers for win 8.1 for their cards?

I know you're trying to elucidate why AMD doesn't support Windows 8.1, but you're inviting a discussion about Nvidia, which is not allowed in the AMD sub-board.

Thanks for understanding,

Hi ! Sorry for your card I’m late, but this black screen / freeze with buzzing sound coming from speakers crash looks very similar to something that happened in 2012 with a defective batch of Radeons HD 7870, especially Sapphire cards. Quite a few people had had the problem at the time, there was even an article about it on hardware.fr [link]. Basically, it was due to capacitors of inadequate quality. I had it and the problem disappeared after I RMA’d my card and got a new one. Of course, we probably can’t tell if that’s exactly the same cause in your case, but it’s strange to see the same symptoms with a Fury X years later.

Edit : I remember that depending on the card, the crashes could be fairly rare, like, it could work fine for weeks and then crash a single time (which was particularly annoying since people had sent their cards for RMA and the customer services, and even AMD for several weeks, as explained by the article, couldn’t reproduce the problem), and that it’s possible that the frequency of the crashes increased over time as the capacitors degraded, which could explain why some people (like me) didn’t experience any problem until months after having the card

Sorry man. Any idea of what killed your Fiji?
don t know who killed, because I buyed from another person who lying me all is alright. Before I buy this card i ask him many time if the card have no HIDDEN problem and he lying me.I will return the card
This game Warcraft 3 was the only game who warning me something is not right with this fury X,because until I have those black borders all the time my image flickering but only in this game.In another modern games no flickering issue(very strange). This old game Warcraft 3 detect "hidden" problem of video card. And of course gpu-z detect too something is wrong with the card.
So be carefull what you buy from the internet guys, because there are many video card with HIDDEN problem which at first sight seems to be ok

I'm sorry too about this card.I love this card Fury X and I love Radeon company more than green camp, because they always have better image with better contrast and color at their card. And this Fury X is gorgeus with liquid cooling.
