Hi
Got my Fury X card yesterday and i hate to say this but it feels like a downgrade..
I had better preformance with 2x gtx680 in sli.. 3DMark agrees with me on that.
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7527771?

also i cant even play LOL.. yeah it cant handle that even.. so i guess something is wrong..

also GPU-Z tells me that it has 100% GPU Load even though i just turned on the PC and nothing more..

does anyone else have tthis problem?
AMD deleted my post abut it...

9000 Firestrike score? That's like R9 290-level performance lol. It could be a vsync issue, could be Windows power management/display driver issue, or a power supply issue.

Video drivers (esp. Nvidia in my experience) have a nasty habit of leaving bits behind after uninstall. Is this a fresh Windows install? If not, how did you get rid of the Nvidia drivers?

no this is not a fresh windows install should i try that?
i used CCleaner and dont remember the name but a (GPUremover)
Power supply brand new works prfectly with my old cards..
And yeah if a virus... it olny attacks ATI? well i dont have any virus if i did i think i would be aware.

Also if its the driver i wouldent be the first posting about this i guess =(

AMD hates me..

AMD doesn't hate you. You obviously have something VERY wrong on your rig, or your windows installation. I don't think you have a PSU issue, because you were running 680 SLI before. A single Fury is easier on the PSU.

Post your specs, and begin by uninstalling the graphics drivers with DDU. Run it twice, in both AMD and nV mode so it gets everything clean. Also uninstall any OC tool like afterburner/trixx/precision, etc. Go the extra mile and do a CMOS clear, then reconfigure your BIOS, just to be sure. Then install the appropriate driver for your Fury.

Tell us how it goes, then.

Just to clarify, you're using 15.15 drivers, correct?

Can you boot in safe mode and run GPU-Z (if it'll even run)?

Also, out of curiosity, how many LEDs are lit up at the power connectors on the card?

Junior Member - What's your Processor, MB, Ram and PSU. What was your previous GPU? Check you PSU to GPU connections. What AMD Dvr your using?

Let me add Model of Display and Resolution - What OS?

Changing GPU's can be a Gruel.

Have you monitored your clockspeeds and temps during games/benchmarks? You could be throttling.

If you have 100% gpu usage at the desktop there is definitely something wrong. Try different virus scans, not just one program to rule out a mining virus.

This don't sound normal, no way to have 100% load on GPU on boot.
Fine, you don't want to reinstall... then just make a new partition, and make a new windows install, and try it there.
If that works, then, reinstall would be pretty much the only fix, sounds like corrupted files someplace.

Sound like mining, had same problem 1 year ago. What fixed it for me was to run rougekiller.

Hi all!

I feel so ashamed of my self right now!

Just before i started to reinstall my windows i just restarted my PC by mistake and thought that it dosent hurt to try more anitvirus program...

And yeah my PC works better now
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7537506?

So sorry to have botherd u guys and thanks for all your help!

Oh and one funny thing to note is that this virus did not affect my old gtx680 cards..

Reminder to all those who upgrade the GPU, all antivirus programs might not be able to detect this.

Well thanks to you all yett again!

It could be that it was a bitcoin miner that found your 680s not worthy, but when you got the Fury X it turned on.. or something along those lines.

Please don't be offended. This is just for the everyone who may have similar problem in future..

Some of the pirates games and software come with mining software/application or whatever they are called and these p2p softwares/apps.... Create an firewall exception for themselves and download files. Even after removing these files the mining operation continues to happen putting extra load on the gpu.

If I am wrong please correct me..
