"Race to the top" recruitment thread: Correlizer Project

It very much seems that this race has "broken" the Correlizer servers.
As it is now most available WUs are sent to either SETI.Germany's crunchers or to TeAm AnandTech's crunchers. Those two teams process now approx. 2/3 of all capacity, which of course puts a heavy load on the validators and assimilators.
Lets have some patience.
I had some 9 hours ago more than 450 WUs "ready to report", I can not get any info about how many WUs are pending. The latter because all the process run on one server and if one process is hogging the resources (e.g. the validator) then other processes (e.g. to generate WUs, to serve pages etc) will be going very slow.
I see that as a result of a very successful campaigne, although we have not yet reached our objective ... to become #1 in Correlizer.

Hard to become #1 when alot of us cannot get work (well my quad has some, but the hex is completing much faster than it receives)

but on a side note - i have done - State: All (2431) | In progress (87) | Pending (1733) | Valid (605) - on 2 rigs in ~ 38 hours.

Agreed...there are members with lots of cores idling here and at SG...too bad.

But at least the project has gained attention and probably gotten lots of processed WUs!

well i'm contemplating sticking with the project after the race ends...win or lose by Nov 16th, the TeAm still has a chance to take over the #1 spot in Correlizer even if we don't get it done by the race deadline. i'm still undecided, b/c i've had to reduce production on some of my favorite projects just to participate in this race...but it may be worth it to stick with it just to see the TeAm take over the top spot.

Update:

The project servers have been having issues, or are overwhelmed, possibly due to the race.

Nobody is probably able to connect to fetch new or report completed work.
Uppsala posted a message at the correlizer message board asking for an ETA and here is the response:

Update: The Correlizer servers are back to normal!

We're still looking to hit #1 in that project and we are within 150k points.
If you have not lost your crunching mojo yet, please join and help us if you can!

SG is currently semi-dormant and more focused on other projects so we have a good chance of getting there!
