OK I have to admit I've been a big fan of Sonnet's products over the years, but I just recently discovered the RackMac Mini and think it's incredibly epic. It allows you to mount up to two Mac Mini's in a single 1U enclosure. Alternatively you can mount 1 Mini and an external Superdrive (with optional bracket) which is what I did. It even has front panel power buttons and USB ports. I've never seen another product like this before. As a musician this really helps keep things neat an organized. I could see this being useful in server-type environments too. Totally epic!

I dont remember which company makes it, but they have a 1U rack mount enclosure that allows you to use PCIe cards.

That is pretty awesome. I'm in the process of converting my home network hub into a rack system. This would be pretty neat.

Yep, I mostly use software-based instruments now, though.
