• VK_EXT_inline_uniform_block
  • This extension introduces the ability to back uniform blocks directly with descriptor sets by storing inline uniform data within descriptor pool storage.
• VK_KHR_swapchain_mutable_format
  • This extension enables processing of swapchain images as different formats to that used by the window system, which is particularly useful for switching between sRGB and linear RGB formats.
• VK_EXT_scalar_block_layout
  • This extension enables C-like structure layout for uniform and storage buffers, allowing non-scalar types to be aligned solely based on the size of their components.
• Sparse Support is Enabled
  • Sparse support relaxes the requirement to have memory allocated and bound to resources prior to being used. It also relaxes the requirement for the bound memory to be contiguous and for the memory bindings to be immutable.

Fixed Issues

Known Issues

• Some systems running multiple displays may experience mouse lag when at least one display is enabled but powered off.
• Uninstalling Radeon Software may fail to remove Radeon Settings.
• Upgrade Advisor may intermittently fail to detect games and provide compatibility recommendations.
• Performance Metrics Overlay may change size when resolutions are changed in game.
• A port 58888 already in use error message may be observed when AMD Link Server was disabled while an IOS device client was connected.
• Radeon Overlay’s new in overlay video player may experience smoothness issues while adjusting the playback slider.
• Scene Editor may have issues with scrolling when many elements are added to a scene.
• Custom settings in Radeon WattMan may sometimes fail to apply on Radeon RX Vega series graphics products.
• Auto tuning control options fail to present the starting notification before applying in Radeon Overlay.
• Auto tuning may experience inconsistent behavior after applying Auto Overclock GPU and restarting/rebooting the system.

I haven't used Wattman yet but that looks pretty cool, easy to tweak.

These drivers are buggy for me. Not with running games, but the install process and the use of the new features. I uninstalled using DDU and reinstalled these new drivers. It did not prompt me to reboot which isn't normal. I went into the AMD software and noticed the global overclocking menu was just not present. The software was stuck scanning, which it did automatically. The software was also crashing every 30 seconds or so. I rebooted. Things were still kind of wonky although the missing menus were showing now. I clean uninstalled from the AMD software and did the whole process again. This time things went as I would expect and everything was present and working in the software.

The new features seem kinda buggy or maybe just not polished. The auto memory overclock works no problem. The auto undervolt doesn't seem to work for me. The auto overclock seems to test different clock speeds, but never stops testing? I saw it start at 1647 then minutes later go to 1628 where it stay for a long time. Longer than the previous clockspeed. The problem I have is that I'm not getting any indication that anything is being tested. "Please wait...testing", a percentage until complete, or a notification when it's finished. I don't know if that is a lack of polished presentation or a bug.

When I installed mine last night, it had me reboot twice, once for removal and once after install, everything works just fine as advertised. I did not use DDU cleaner however, I just selected the clean install option that the new drivers had. Normally I do an express install, but not this time. Something doesn't seem right with the sequence of events or lack there of, that it had you go through and the missing modules.

Disappointed in the auto overclock features as well. Don't seem to work right and there's no indication of what's happening. Even after it seems to finish there's no indication what things are set to for me, but maybe they're just not working right to begin with.

With that said, love the new fan curve option and additional power state tweaking. I was able to reduce my power draw by 15 W - 25 W by tweaking additional power states all while having a more consistent frequency on the core. The compatibility / upgrade assistant stuff I couldn't care less about. I also want to try out the new link features and the on the fly wattman through the overlay.

This might be some kind of placebo, but I swear the Image quality seems better.

I'd like it to stop nagging me to enable ReLive and also to stop crashing when trying to modify individual game profiles. Gone back to 18.12.1 until these teething issues are resolved.
