Radeon 32 MB DDR + 3DMark 2001

I just got my Radeon 32 MB DDR Radeon with a Duron 750 on an ASUS A7V. My first run got me slightly over 2400 whith 1024x768 32 bit evrything.

The problem is that test 4 and the pixel shader did not work and point sprites got a score of N/A (my rage 128 did better).

I know there is a way to get all af these tests to work with the right drivers and tweeks and I would like some help on doing that.

And does anyone know how to use enable HSR and to get GF3 class framerates.

Hey at least you got a score. I'm running a 800 duron on MSI KT with a radeon LE at 165 and the thing won't even finish 3dmark 2001. I'm using the raid on tweaker with their suggested settings for 3dmark2001. It fails the first high resolution test with the truck.

oh well...life goes on. The important thing is that it works with the games you want to play.

I recomend that you try it when it is not overclocked and maybe glue a fan to the heatsink and try again. You should also try diferent drivers as stability varies greatly.

I have the Radeon LE with the registry optimized to be a DDR at 183Mhz. I have a Duron 650 @900 on an Abit Kt7 Board with 288ram. I get 2559 on 3dmark 2001. From what I read, and this is controversial, 3dmark 2001 is optimized for a Geforce3 and other cards don't seem to score so well.

The GF3 is definetly the best card for SDMark 2001 but the radeon is a close second. I would like to see how the Radeon SE would stand against the GF3 at the same memory and clock speed.

You should be able to get close to 3000. I have a Duron 1050 and Radeon DDR LE @183/183 and I get right around 3000. Check my rig for more specs.
