Radeon 3600 series card in 5 year old build not working properly

Update this week disabled this many of card's functions. The driver was replaced with a generic win 10 driver with little function. I have 2 monitors connected but it reports only one, showing the same on each one. Can't get it to install proper driver.
This is board used.

Probably not longer supported outside of basic functionality in that version of windows 10 would be my guess.

So it is just dated and no longer handles dual monitors. I would upgrade the card but sounds like a challenge to find suitable replacement.

Is it AGP or PCI-E? A 970 chipset board should be PCI-E, you should be able to use any modern card.

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16); PCI EX 2.0

This is the slot I have.
Looking at Newegg I see memory is a factor with users.

Have not seen mention of Win 10 compatible mentioned.

You can try rollbacking the driver via Device manager.

You can also try installing the Legacy 13.9 driver via the Device manager.

Something seems to be installed, from MS. Shown as, "22.19.128.0".

Where do I get the legacy driver.

Latest Legacy driver and needs to be installed via Device manager.

I think the new update borked the current driver and it now uses the Microsft basic display adapter.

I saw others had the same issue and solved it either by doing a driver rollback or reinstalling the drivers. It might work if you just let the Device manager search for a driver as well.

Windows is not getting along with my system. I am wondering if buying a new graphics card is worth it. Is this MB worth upgrading?

Cards seem to run $100 +.

I am just using this to surf the net. Not gaming. Photoshop also.
