Hey guys, was just poking around on Buy.com and noticed that the've lowered their price on the ATI Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO from $240 to $187.95... pretty kick ass deal especially if you can manage to use that $30 coupon that's still floating around...

HEHEHE... Just did it. SWEET!

I think you're referring to the 32MB All in Wonder Radeon. I didn't see any 64MB version there.

This is better than the trade-in program .. I think
Does this come with rebate? I mean is buy.com a participate vender for the $30 rebate?

Nice price for that card. Has anyone been able to redeem the $30 off $150 coupon that you now have to call in for (the buy.com one)? Its listed as a business store coupon now but I thought Ive heard that people are still successfully using it.

Good deal anyway, the trade in deal takes up to 4-6 weeks. Who knows how low the price could go during that period.

was thinking to get one of these with this deal ... but total comes out $207 - $30 coupon = $177
Hmm, do I really need a $177 video card? I guess I'll pass.

EDIT: Just ordered one ... couldn't resist ... really need a vider card to replace my 2mb video card. I called the number and use the $30 off $150 coupon no problem. Don't forget to use ebates for the extra 2% rebate.

Buy.com is not a participating retailer in the rebate program. But if you can substitute the coupon for the rebate, it's pretty much the same deal.

Seems to be no reason the $30 coupon shouldn't work. It's definitely a lot LESS work than the trade-in program, and no MIR, not to mention cheaper; I don't need a card, but this will be great for my friend.

This purchase was too easy. Place the order (without any coupon) and then call buy.com. Tell them you received a link for a coupon. I gave them my order number and they said the $30 will be credited to my account! Woohoo!

I posted this in the other thread like this one, but I wasn't sure if it was going to get closed because there are two threads. So, just in case...I just purchased this card from buy.com no longer than a couple of weeks ago (still under the 30 day return limit though) for their $237.95 price. I wrote buy.com asking them if they would price match to their current price and refund me the $50 difference. Hopefully everything will go fine. Do you think they will give me any trouble for that? I mean, couldn't I just return the unopened Radeon and then re-purchase it at the current price? Maybe it won't come to that. Thanks.

mulder, no they wont return the difference. they will give you the difference if their price drops withing [b/]24[/b] hours of your order, but after that, its your loss....i guess thats why amex bluecard gets so many subscribers.....

Are you speaking from experience? If that's the case then what's to stop me from just asking to return my Radeon that I first purchased at the higher price, and then turn right around and make another purchase the exact Radeon at the $50 lower price? Buy.com has a 30 day return policy from the shipping date on unopended products (mine is unopended btw). I don't mind doing that, because the system it's going into isn't ready to be built yet, but it would be easier just to make a price adjustment. I would just think that buy.com might want to not go through hassle of returns, etc. But I guess it's always the customer's problem isn't it. Hopefully they will be helpful about this.

doesnt hurt to try, and i hope they do it. but twice i have tried and they refused. i also asked if i could just return and buy again and was told that i would have to ship it back and then place a new order, and that was to get a lousy $10 back on a linksys router (needless to say i didnt bother)...

but if the difference is big (as is your case) go for it!

just did it..use the 30 off again...call them and said you receive the coupon via buy dot com's promotion e-mail(very important..so they can't reject you if you say this)..that's all..after you place your order..give them the order number.and they will credit 30 to your CC..so..basically..you can use the coupon multiple times..gonna order more before the coupon dead..good luck..deal hunters!!!
