Radeon 9500 pro stopped registering the connected VCR, Why ??

Has anybody experienced a similar problem??
My computer suddenly stopped registering my VCR and TV that is connected to my Sapphire 9500 pro S-VHS. It was in perfect order and I could work on my PC, while the kids watched a DVD on the internal DVD. But now it doesn't work! The ystem doesn't seem to register that anything is connected to the S-VHS plug, could it be "dead"?
Otherwise I have no problem with the card.
Any suggestions??
I have tried to boot without the cable and then reboot with the cable plugged in and tried to activate the screen, but to no avail!
(I haven't changed drivers or settings in any way)

The boot screen should be visible on the TV. If not, test the cable and S-Video inputs with other gear to isolate the problem to the PC. If so, but then no detection or picture within Windows, uninstall drivers, use cat uninstaller, install drivers. If still no go at that point it must be the fault of the S-Video output.

I have now tried a new cable and a new S-VHS/SCART converter with no luck!! I have also tried going straigth into the composite input on the TV ( Phillips 28GR9973 28" older model)

I have also tried installing the new Omega 2504 version of catalyst 3.10 after removing the old drivers with Driver cleaner 2.0.

But nothing helps, I still only get a black TV-screen ( even during boot-up)!!

Any suggestions ??
Should I RMA it? It worked perfect for almost 7 months!

I RMA'ed the card and they could not replace it with a similar card, so I got a Sapphire 9600 pro Ultimate instead.

I hope that it is a descent replacement.

Is it as good an overclocker???
