Do you get artifacts in urs?

Do you know if it can be flashed to a 9800Pro?

Raf
...why flash?
1. Risk of flash.
2. Overclocking...no need.

I know this is old post, but U R nUtZ....

I just installed TWO PowerColor 9800SE's and running them both with the Omega drivers and they simply run AWESON. Running them at stock speeds (which are 9800Pro speeds) because there were slight artifacts when I oc'd it. But it looks Beatiful and runs Great! (Both of them). 3Dmark03 scores are 5700 in a 2.4/200 barton.

Sure, not all of the SE's will run with the Omega drivers and if it doesn't, you still have about the same card as the 9600pro, BUT IF IT DOES... well, you win.

SE means that some of the functionality of a normal video card have been cut back. Normally it means half of the pipelines have been disabled and the standard Video processor for a 9800 has been used.

I mated that to a AMD Athlon64 3000+, ASUS K8VSE DL (K8T800), 1GB of Kingston DDR400. I think I'll enjoy it.

Crazymofo, indeed..... You'll like it, so long as you're not playing 3D games.

Slooooooooooowwwwww..... bad price too.
LOL... when I finally got to the vid card, I got less than $100 for allowance... so I figure, I'll get this for now and change it out later.

I was just thinking that your $100 could have bought a FAR, far better card... 256MB of RAM is not going to make it any faster.... it's still a slow pig. A 64MB Ti4200 would run circles around it.....
