Mine is 64% and it's stable 1050 MHz/1.05V.

@Zargon: Your chip is unbelievably good, though. 0.91V for 1030 MHz?! What is your 7950's idle voltage?

I'll have to look, I havent noticed it changing much at all

FWIW mine does 1100/1500 with only power tune limit changed to 20%, highest I can do in CCC (well, memory can go a bit higher...). I don't want to bother with Afterburner and playing with voltage since the fans are quite loud at 1100. Somewhere between 1000-1050 seems to be a sweet spot for me, although with headphones the noise is not much of an issue.

It's a very unscientific result as I spent little time testing stability: 30mins of Furmark and 1-2 hrs of Oblivion, I don't have a demanding game right now.

Your stock volts is 0.971v? That's really nice. My stock is 1.037, and I can get 1100MHz out of that. Haven't tried any higher.

Yup, very happy with the stock voltage. I need a better case or a better cooler if I want to overclock more. My temps are already around 70-73c playing games and heaven. I have tried 1100 on stock volts but it wont take. I have completed 3Dmark11 @ 1085 but it's not stable in games.

Be a man! You are on water. You should be able to hit 1200-1250mhz!

Haha yeah my temps are 50-55C load...so I have plenty of headroom, but it seems like a pain in the butt to test for stability to get a bit more. At 1100MHz it mines and plays games really nicely.

What is a safe voltage for 7950s anyway?

~1187v for me, ASIC is 87.2% and I get 1031v stock. I ran 1252 through 3dmark11 on air with 1187v. If I walked on water like you do, I would do 1200 24/7. Heck, I would run 1200 24/7 even on air in a HAF X with a nice set of fans or a similar setup that could actually handle the GPU heat expelled inside the case. EDIT: I see you are fellow miner too. For mining at 1100, I can get away with video and browsing @1043v. Anything lower and browser will crash. For gaming, I need to up the juice to 1073v @1100.

My VRM temps are sitting at 85C and 75C on the 7950 according to HWINFO, which is why I don't want to push much higher on the voltage. The heatsink on the VRMs is fairly thin which is holding me back I think. At a later date I may modify it but for now I just don't have the time to mod it.

zaydq: Not sure what you are driving at. For US customers the card is $315 AR through newegg.com.

Right now the best 7950 deal through Newegg.com is the Sapphire 7950 for $280 AR. The cooler looks pretty good but a quick Google search did not find any reviews. Also, Sapphire as a company does not have the best reputation.

That's insane. I've always been accustomed to them having near identical pricing. I'll take that I'm wrong. But I've never seen a difference quite as big as that between the .ca and .com

What? Sapphire has a great rep. They are known for high quality products. :\
