US retailer Newegg.com leaked pricing of its reference design Radeon R9 290X graphics cards. An MSI-branded reference-design card got its own store page with its pricing redacted, but Newegg did a sloppy job at that

In Sweden the Battlefield 4 edition cost $1262 if you deduct the VAT. It did cost $1137 earlier, which translates to around $900 if you deduct VAT. That was probably the real price until the interest skyrocket and they increased it.

Swedish etailer Webhallen has the ASUS BF4 Premium bundle up for 9999kr (SEK), which includes Swedish taxes. Certain websites have done the conversion direct and got a ludicrously high $1575 equivalent, but without Sweden’s 25% tax rate this comes to 8000kr, or $1262.

I saw an image that had them at 7299kr for the Swedish BF4 bundle, but I'd have to see prices of other cards in Sweden to really compare.

The same store has the 780 for 5490kr, so I think the 9999kr is a placeholder.

Nvidia was in a very good position right having the by far strongest single GPU with no competition. Wonder how many who waited for AMD and how that will reflect on the 290X sales.

I expect that normal version would cost 599-649 dollars.

Nope, this version is sold with BF4 key as a bonus for the first buyers.
The BF4 edition have a different SKU than the $699 version in the OP so it will most likely cost even more.

That could drive the cost up, so the real plain version with games but not bf4 could be like $650ish.

BF4 game is $60, premium pack is $50. Too expensive if you ask me, that is why I am hoping to catch these codes on the cheap!

Yep they are, and I'd guess it adds a bit to the price. They may have other exclusive content but the game alone is $110.

Well, the newegg one at $729 didn't mention it but when looking at the pics it's a BF4 limited edition one.
