I agree with Leon. Too little too late. I would actually be surprised if it came close to GF2U speeds.

As far as ATI being around for another year, I think that can continue to exist if they cut costs by shrinking their product line to only Radeon-related products, put out a unified driver set, and speed up product development. It might also be interesting to have a 6-month product cycle that is opposite of nVidia's. Meaning, ATI could release their new product in the Fall, and then refresh that product in the Spring.

anywho, I suspect that this will be pretty close to the GF2 GTS in terms of performance. I just wish ATi would release a Radeon 2 already!

Why does the framerate on the Radeons not scale very well with clock speed compared to the Nvdia line?

My new LE does have a gorgeous picture and is sweet on price/performance, but I am puzzled as to why the framerate increase is paltry when overclocked. Is this a limitation of hyperZ or something?

its not Nvidia's problem...blame the manufacturers who end up using cheap ass Ramdac filters in order to keep their card costs down. nice looking card....gotta dig that Nvidia reference design heatsink on that badboy....i like the ramsinks as well.

All those who claim the this is too little too late are incapable of objective thought. I can name at least 5 major things the radeon has that the GF2 doesn't. They only thing that the GF has that the radeon doesn't is better drives.

in there, some ppl noticed that the fan on that pic looked pretty much like a gf2 fan, and than u can notice a date printed on the board, 2000... and that if it was legit it would probaly say 2001

OK it was very apparenty that that is a fake. Take a close look at the ATI Radeon Graphics label is to bright and not scaled correctly. Also why is the fan power conecting to the PCB and not the Fan connector. Also why is there a speaker in the topleft corner of the card?
