I haven't really played around with undervolting the VII, but perhaps when my other card comes back I'll give it a try. The one I have in operation doesn't get too warm, but certainly is a bit noisy at full tilt.
Mine is similar to DrMrLordX's, stable at -113mV, which brings the noise level down considerably. I also overclocked the VRAM to 1.1GHz, so the card is both more efficient and faster than stock.
Mine wouldn't do -100 mV at stock clocks, but it does -85 stably. Since I have it on water though, I prefer to do a smaller undervolt combined with an overclock to both the core and memory.
Yes, the stock voltage for this card (from Gigabyte) was 1092 mV. I can't quite run it at the stock 1801 MHz at an even 1 volt - needs to be just a touch higher. But I'm happy running it at 1950 MHz and 1081 mV.
