Radeon8500LE@ 250/275 3.3ns ram for 99$! (CRT+DVI only!)

Sorry i didn't pick up on this shortcoming. I don't have any use for two moniter outputs however so its something i wouldnt have noticed in any event. I'll add this info to the main post.

At least we know why the card is so cheap in any event. Its actually reassuring in some ways since something would in all probablility have to have been missing for this card to have become so cheap, and so knowing what it is helps reassure what it isn't. If that makes sense. Sorry to those whom thought they were getting a dual moniter card.

Well, for 99$ it meets my needs of one DVI + TV-out... Plus if I can get it at 275/275...

for 23 dollars you should be able to pick up an 8meg PCI video card so you can run your dual monitors on, after checking price watch, you can get a XPERT 98 PCI 8MB WIN 98 2D/3D ACCELERATOR for only 24 dollars which would help you in your Dual monitor woe's pretty well, considing the 8500 is one of the better Video cards out there for gaming and the what not--but hey, that is just my two cents.

I talked with a Newegg Customer Service person and explained the situation. He said if I just refuse the package, I will be refunded everything including the shipping! And no restocking fee! So now I will order the right one for the $112.00.

Mine OC's to 275/300 perfectly stable. Core speeds over 300 cause lockups and I started getting artifacts when bumping the memory above 310. Haven't tested the TV-out yet, but everything is great with the card hooked up to a 19" LCD display via DVI

this will not do crt+crt, I have one so i can say for sure. It has a modified dvi connector that will not allow the use of a dvi to crt convertor.

ddual desktop is awesome for crt crt. like you can have a monitoring program in one screen, and your work desktop in another.. it rocks no matter what...

basically the 250/275 one has a DVI - D port for the most part, just it looks like a DVI-I port.

Just got my card, 3.3ns Hynix ram. Woo hoo! Watching The Fifth Element on my new Toshiba DVD-ROM I bought as well, and getting great audio from my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. Damn this forum.
