Curious if anyone else is experiencing this and what (if anything) you did about it.
I'm running Windows 10 x64 and previously had the Crimson 16.3.2 WHQL driver package. Then about a week or so ago I started getting upgrade notifications from Radeon Settings that a new version was available. However the version it wanted me to upgrade to was a BETA (16.4.x). I don't do BETAS... but I was getting annoyed by the daily nag to upgrade. So I checked the AMD site and there seemed to be an even newer non-beta release available.
I downloaded and installed 16.5.1 (non-WHQL). Now, Radeon Settings is again nagging me to "upgrade," except it now wants me to use the older 16.3.2 WHQL version that I started with.
What's the correct, current version that is not a Beta?
Should I only be using WHQL releases?
How do I get the Radeon Settings app to shut up about release notifications?
Thank you
