Just ran into radio shack in new brunswick nj to checkout whatever is on sale..

Basically all computer accessories were on clearance, picked up two thunderblade 120mm fans for 3 bucks each (orig 10), a pci exhaust fan for 5 bucks (orig 10), 8 pack thumb screws for 3 bucks (8).

Complete water cooling set up was down to 80 from 150, didn't check the exact model. Round cables IDE were down to 2 bucks from 10. Sleeving was 2 bucks also down from 10. Cathode tubes were 10 down from 20. 4 packs of 80mm thermaltake thunderblade fans were 10 bucks down from 30, too bad my case only takes 120's.

Now keep in mind Radio Shack specials are almost always specific to the store but hey you might get lucky if you need any stuff like this.

none of them do. It's all thermaltake.

I take that back, some thermaltake cases are ok. and their sleeving does the job.

Just stopped into my local RadioShack (Tenleytown, DC), and they had almost all their Thermaltake stuff on clearance, too. Don't remember too many specifics, but I did get a 4 pack of 80mm case fans for 5 bucks. They had some 120s that were 4 bucks a piece, and a few other decent deals. Too bad the round IDE cables were still 7 or 8 bucks at my store.

Oh, looks like they have most of the deals listed on their website. Everything's sold out online, but my store pretty much had the same selection.

I havent stepped foot into a radioshack in years, I didn't even realize they sold Thermaltake anything. May be worth a look to see if they have anything.

I went to two different RS and got the Blue Orb 2 for $22 something each. They were $45 originally. They also have the big typhoon for $30, but couldn't justify the extra 7 or 8 bucks. The $80 bigwater 735 was so tempting because it was down from $160. The review is not so great, though. Not sure..., I never owned a water cooling system before. Hmmm. I picked up 120mm red led fans for $4 each, but some of the other ones still cost $10. what's up with that? I checked the back and the fans have exact specs.

Well, our local Rat Shack, in our small town of 4,000, is pathetically small. Never really go in there at all except when I have to drop off a package to ship via UPS....this place is the UPS Store, too....one small counter in the rear of the store.

But today, had to drop off a couple of packages and on my way out, saw some Monster Cable interconnect cables........I know, give me grief about Monster..........that were marked down by 70-75%. Picked up a few because they were just too darned cheap not to......6 ft. component video cables for $8.99, 12 ft. DVI cable for $12.99, 4 ft. THX component video cables for $9.99. Almost all their MC's were severely marked down.....putting them into the same price class as the cheaply priced stuff. At those prices, MC were finally worth what was charged for them.

They are constantly suffering from an identity crisis. They have been surviving for years without really knowing what they want to be. I can?t imagine that they last too much longer.

They are stuck between Radio shack of old (electronic supplies, DIY, tinkering stuff), and radio shack of new (mini best buy regarding computers, and cell phones pimping).
