Not being a big fan, I just paid £0.00 to try out the album and if I like 3 songs or more, will go back and put down £5.00 for the work. Shareware!

Edit: I can't bring myself to pay for this. Damn it, I want to like Radiohead, but I just can't stomach listening to most of their stuff.

yeah they were ready for this.
i got the zip at 650k/sec this morning. i was sort of expecting it to crawl / time out and not have it by the time i left for work. so that made me happy.
im just now starting the third listen of the morning...
it usually takes me a few days / several listens to something before forming an opinion.
i also need to hear it on headphones a few times.

Ok, I'm a fan of this process. I paid 5 pounds + processing fee for it. I love it that I am giving my cash straight to the band and screwing the record company. I would have paid more for lossless though.

And the album seems to be pretty good, too. A big :thumbsup: to Radiohead and hope to see more bands follow suit.

I don't see why they wouldn't...it's a free album..

I imagine they will want to track the number of purchasers and how much they pay, which won't be possible if multiple people use the same DL code.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but the crazy electronic stuff caught me a little off guard (not in a bad way though). The beat to 15 Step was not was I was expecting at all. It and all the rest sound great though. Pretty much all of the tracks blew me away, except for Videotape at first, but this version is quickly growing on me.

This ranks up towards the top for me. The Bends, OKC, Kid A, and In Rainbows are all 10/10 in my book.

Well this is a perfect example of the model working just fine. Others here have paid and been over the moon. You didn't and your not bent out of shape because you paid for it.

You are bent out of shape, but I'm pretty sure that happened way before this album release.
