I have a RAID 5 consisting of 4 x 2TB hdds and I also have a Vertex 3 SSD for the OS. I updated the Vertex firmware the other day and ever since then my raid 5 has been inaccessible. When I go into computer management > disk management it shows disk 0 as being 5589 GB of space that is unallocated and not initialized. It also shows 2 of the 2 TB hard drives as online and unallocated. Why are half the hard drives showing up seperate and yet the RAID is still 'shown' as well? I have an ASUS P8P67 motherboard and yes I'm using the built in Intel RAID.
Any idea of what is going on here? Somehow updating the SSD firmware messed up the MBR? - that's my guess?
Is there anything I can do to get my raid 5 to associate all of the disks back together?
I appreciate any help
