raid0 or JBOD

I have a ASUS A8N-E motherboard and would like to combined 2 200GB disk together to use to store recorded shows in MCE. I would like to know if it is okay to put both disk on the same IDE channel or would it be better to just use the JBOD feature of this motherboard?
