Sea Shepherd founder says mankind is a 'virus' and we need to 're-wild the planet.'

If you remember the book Rainbow Six, eco-terrorists engineered an Ebola virus, and a cure, and planned to release it at the Olympics, and bring the Earth back to a pre-human stage.

I thought it was a bit far-fetched at the time, but what do you know . . .

Because like most people leading the charge on controversial topics that require action by the majority which they themselves dont want to participate in, they are hypcrites.

If "human communities" were no larger than 20K people, where exactly do you think he intends to put the billion or more people who live in urban areas around the globe?

Obviously people are injecting their own violence and hatred into what this man has said.

The population can be reduced over large time periods by producing smaller numbers of offspring.

As to his thoughts, he's missing the boat. All of the eco-folks should be pushing hard and fast for viable ways to get off this rock. Hard to screw up Mars climate (albeit when we try some folks are going to demmand we stay hands off, ala Red Mars/Blue Mars)....
