Okay, first off... watch out for spoilers. I avoided being specific to not spoil the story for people who come in here reading to see if this game is worth getting.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD*

Um what do you mean it just cuts off... what do you think is going on in Las vegas.. dont you listen to the briefings?
that terrorist chick that took your 2 team memebers is assualting vegas.. the whole game is about stopping her..
Okay, obviously my complaint went over your head. the San Jose Port map was practically Mario with guns. You get to the end and "Oh no, the princess (your team) is in another castle (location)!" Greaaaat, you just spend 2 hours going through a boring mission listening to dumb NPCs yell obscenities at you in Spanish (and oh boy, they swear quite often ), probably dying enough to turn 2 hours into 4 hours.
Let me lay out this mission for you to show you why it's simply too long:
1) Get to Team Rendezvous Point
2) Fend off Terrorist Assault
3) Save Hostages
4) Find Irene
5) Find Your Team
6) Find Your Team
7) Get to and Clear Extraction Point
SEVEN objectives, each one requiring an entirely new area of the map. Some of these were quick to finish, some required a good traversal of the map and a nice 30 minutes to complete. Obviously if you don't complain about this, you've never played the original Rainbow Six games enough. I don't remember a single mission that was EVER that long.
Also, what the hell was with all the hard tango placements!? They give you a hallway to get into a rectangular room with 2 guys on each side... wow, that room took almost 20 minutes to clear because of how much inching and testing and dying (dying just perpetuated the 20 minutes each time) it took to find the right spot to just nick the guys enough to kill them. If you walked out too far, you were mowed down by multiple tangos. Not to mention how you were only given a pistol earlier in the map and by that point you were stuck with a pistol and a shotgun... frags would've made that room 10x easier!

Would you rather the game be 5 mins long? what exactly was wrong with mexico that you dont like? it wasnt just a tutorial map it was 1/3 of the story, setting up the rest of the entire game..
I liked it was a good level. and the games story is way better than that over rated POS GoW.
I'd rather it be broken up. You may've enjoyed staying in the same god-forbidden town for 2 hours, but guess what... I didn't! Especially for a lousy 30 Gamerscore Achievement? Also, the fact that if you ever died... you had to restart from your last savepoint. Well, that sucked quite a bit compared to the original rainbow games that gave you not 1 person... not 3 people but
SIXTEEN people. If one person died, you went to the next person in that team. You had
SIXTEEN lives before you had to restart the mission. Note that these missions were about as long as the time between objectives in the Mexico stage.

and as for your glitch they dont reset to thier original positions as they are roaming AI... they dont just sit in 1 place they moev around.. play some terrorist hunt and you will know that they move and are totally random.
Uhh, no... they reset back to where they came from, I
checked. Also, your understanding of the enemy AI is extremely flawed. Enemies either have one of two AI's... cover or engaging. Tangos that are in the cover AI rarely will ever move from their spot... maybe they'll shift to another cover near you, but it's not extremely common. Engaging tangos will attempt to come up and kill you. Engaging tangos are usually only common in larger rooms and are usually accompanied by Cover tangos.
Also, tangos do not just "free roam." You can watch tangos in the missions and see that they all walk in predefined paths. Hell, they're so predefined, I sat there playing the duck game with one guy on a high walkway. I shot in front of him, he turned and walked the other way... shot in front of him again, he turned and walked the other way. It was kinda fun. Also, I've been able to watch guys, move my cursor to where I saw them and pick them off as they walk BACK through their PREDEFINED path.
