Koduri is an easy public target now. AMD is better off focusing on itself though, and right now RTG can learn a lot from the way the CPU group handled setting expectations and over-delivering. If Koduri leaving helps RTG getting there as well the whole storm in a teapot was worth it.
Agreed. RTG events ranged from borderline cringeworthy at best to outright cringeworthy at worst. They surely needed a change in management, in order to focus back on their roadmaps and keep everything on track.

Okay so the knives are probably out, and Kaby Lake-G will be releasing in turbulent times:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/09/amd-nvidia-shares-drop-after-intel-hires-amds-ex-graphics-head.html
"AMD sent the following statement when asked for comment on Intel's new hire:"

I mentioned this in the CPU section too,but looking at the Reddit thread on it,it seems it was journalists making it up for sensationalism:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/7btvh1/amd_we_also_have_industryleading_graphics_ip_and/

MSNBC is just reposting a story from Fortune which came out yesterday. There is actually no context to their response. Original story:http://fortune.com/2017/11/08/intel-gpu-raja-koduri-amd/

Look at the time the MSNBC story was posted, AMD corporate is not even up yet.

Sounds like journalistic sensationalism.

there is no source from the quote from AMD.so probably seems fake

Just beware of the echo chamber trying to get a few more page clicks.

Why does one have to be "AMD faithful" to recognize deplorable actions?

You'd have to explain the actions that are occurring that you think are deplorable. An unemployed person getting a job is deplorable?

HE WAS EMPLOYED by AMD. While at the sabbatical he decided to depart AMD, and join Intel.

Until either he or Dr. Su disclose what happened (they won't because they're both professionals) it's more likely to believe that parent AMD shot him down on his requests to make Vega functional (more money, bigger driver team, possible delays on product launch due to HBM2) because of promises the BoD had already made to shareholders. If you knew something wasn't going to be good, told everyone that this was going to be a disaster, no one listened or they told you to shut up and smile for the cameras and pretend like everything is okay, would you still walk out on that stage and present a turd with pride?

He's an engineer through and through, what he is not is a corporate management guy. Difference in philosophies can often be irreconcilable, and there's a good chance he and AMD BoD had differences in opinion that led to his sabbatical and impending resignation. The BoD needs AMD to put products out to make money, the engineers mind wants the product to be complete, and perfect before launch, there is a clear conflict between the two given corporate deadlines and road maps.

Show proof that is otherwise.

Im not waiting for your flawed logic based on assumption. I am waiting for HARD proofs.

OK, let's assume you're correct (you're not). What's deplorable about it? Dude got a chance to work for Intel and probably walked away with millions to do it.

FYI, the vetting of a Senior Vice President at a Dow company takes months for the interviews and negotiations. It may even require approval of the BOD to head up an entirely new business unit. He was already talking to Intel about employment long before his "sabbatical".

Proofs? Or this is again your flawed logic? Are you sure he was not in talk with Intel AFTER HE WENT on Sabbatical and not before? Would this not be deplorable, according to your words?

Let me remind you about what you have written in the first place:
Yes, the AMD faithful are going to turn on him. It's going to be particularly amusing to watch the gyrations of some posters here.
Who is the faithful one?
