Start listing for us, Mr. Freeper, those people that are anti-Bush but pro-Iraq War.

I'll check back on your progress later today.

Hey, NoSmirk, even CNN was saying only a few hundred pro-war supporters vs. the hundreds of thousands of anti-war protesters.

BTW, seen any opinion polls lately?

I don't care what CNN says, nor did I say that the anti-whatever crowd wasn't bigger. However, I see you are still parroting the LIE that darkhawk28 was spreading about me being NiSmirk. Do you enjoy being a LIAR?

We aren't talking about opinion polls - this thread is about the "anti-whatever" rallies.

Yeah, there are just SO many anti-Bush, pro-war people.

I know people who don't and didn't support Bush but are for the War to remove Saddam. I guess you are so elite and superior that you don't think these people exist.

Well if public sentiment were half as bad as some polls suggest and the extreme left would quote, there would be lots of public protesting of the Iraq war in our city streets. But there isn't. I wonder why?
Because most of those who realize what a mistake the Dub's excellent adventure is also realize that just pulling up stakes and leaving right now would be a mistake too
Alas, the liberals would like to compare Iraq to Vietnam. During Vietnam street protests were as common as cheap hookers in NY. I fail to see any resemblance, either in that particular area or (for that matter) anywhere else.
Well the only real comparison is that both Military Adventures were mistakes

I am all for exercising your right to free speech and critisizing the goverment when it needs it even if we don't see eye to eye, but why don't they utilize thier time in a more productive way? How many homeless are in Washington? If one of the reasons they are all anti-Bush because he is so "pro-rich" then why not have a protest AND a soup line, give out clothing or take donations for the local shelter. Some sort of benefit for the homeless in some way and actually help the people that Bush supposedly hates? At the very least if they are all going to climb into thier VW vans and head to DC why not take along some clothes or canned goods to donate to the local Salvation Army or shelters while they are there........must not be the "in" thing to do.

Another personal attack, with no logical argument or fact. You are following your predictable pattern to a T.

PS could I get a copy of today's talking points from Pelosi's desk?

Earth to Pabster! Come in Pabster!. Bremer made 8.8 Billion Dollars of Iraq's money vanish without a receipt The funny part is that it was Oil For Food Money. In less than a year, Bremer performed magic on 8.8 Billion. That's approximately a Billion dollars a month. Saddam Hussein had trouble spending a Billion Dollars a year on corrupt officials around the world.
[L=Bush's magician at work in Iraq.]

With the ease that Iraq's critical sites were looted, Bush's constant litany of WMD became a joke of the worst kind. Kind of makes you wonder why Novak wrote about Plame.

You positively remind me of the Iraqi known as Baghdad Bob.

Remember, the subject of the thread was the anti-war rally. You equated anti-war with anti-Bush. I agree with that. Bush is the one going around calling himself "war president".

Anti-war rallies are the leaders on the event horizon. Reactionary pro-war events follow.

The most recent pro-Bush war rally was a day late and 80,000 short.

Damn, you mean the sky isn't falling?

Seems the eternal pessimists on internet message boards are the only ones "protesting"...
Is there really a need to actively protest this war in the streets? In all respects the Dub's Military Adventurism is effectively hamstrung due to the disaproval of this ill conceived and ill advised "Excellent Adventure" in Iraq by the majority of the American Public.

You've pretty much run out of original thoughts haven't you? Do a search on your name and "Excellent Adventure" and you will realize you pretty much say the same thing over and over.

That's hilarious, only 400-800(even if you double the 400)? It seems like the news coverage for the 400 pro-war protesters was about the same as the 200,000+ anti-war protesters. Seems a bit odd doesn't?

Did anyone else from Anandtech go to the protests (either pro or anti war)?

ShadesofGrey, he says it, because it's true and he's hoping that he penetrates the cranium of those who still try to rationalize this war.

Not even close. There was little coverage of the Support the troops ralliers and plenty of coverage of the anti-whatever protesters. BTW, it wasn't even close to 200K. 100K? Maybe but nowhere near the "hundreds of thousands" they kept trying to say they were going to draw.

Weren't the protests bigger before? Seems to me like the anti-whatever protester movement is shrinking not getting bigger. They've been planning this event and talking it up for months now and they couldn't even beat last year's New York protest which supposedly drew 125K. Quite the "momentum" they have there with their anti-whatever movement.

Umm - you were talking to NoSmirk, LIAR. I've informed you many times that I(ShadesofGrey) am not NoSmirk. Never have been and never wil be.

I'm surprised you keep chosing to be a liar, when you've been informed of the truth. Oh well, suit yourself.

Ok, so Bremer personally disappeared with 8.8 billion dollars of Iraqi currency? Give it up. And FWIW your link doesn't work, either.

No, you equated those two things. Here's your own quote:

"Being anti-Iraq war is being anti-Bush. Bush likes to call himself the "War President".
