Ram for P4C800 Deluxe?

Could any one tell me if DDR500 PC4000 184P Transcend TS64MLD64V5F Ram could be used on a Asus P4C800 Deluxe mother board, the normal ram is Pc3200 for this board. what would be the advantageof such Ram? Would it run faster if it can be used? could i clock up the speed ? any infomation would be good to know thank you........

if your board only supports ddr400, you wont be able to run it at 500mhz, however you will be able to run it at very low latencies. if i were you, id install it and speed up the ram timings.

yeah usually lower timings at pc3200 could be used. If you try overclocking it shouldn't be what is limiting you.
