I think I might cut down my ramsinks that I got with my Zalman VF700 and try to put them on my ram.
The problem is...they're used, so there is no thermal tape on them.
I don't want to go out and buy more ramsinks or a special thermal compound, so could I use arctic silver? I know people say "just dont get them on the pins"...but I dont see any pins around the ram. I think I would just apply a very light layer on the bottom of the ramsinks and place them on the memory that way...
Shouldn't I be safe that way?
Or are there better ramsinks that I could buy out there that would likely fit with the VF700 and not need any cutting down?
