Ram unstable at 1T

I'm currently using Patriot Extreme Performance ram DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) ram, and I can NOT for the life of me seem to get it completely stable with 1T memory timings. I've creeped the vdimm on my evga 680i motherboard up to 2.4, and it still isn't happy. (Also using an E6600 C2D processor)

I'm more used to AMD bios settings than Intel ones, so does anyone have a suggestion of what I should set it to to make it a bit more stable? Perhaps I should loosen the timings a bit? I assumed upping the vdimm wold be the problem, but I don't want to go much over 2.4V since the ram defaults to 2.2. In the end, what would be better? 4-4-4-12 2T or 4-4-4-15 1T for example?

I am by far no expert but I kept my timings at stock. Increasing vdimm is supposed to help. But what I had to do is lower my ram speed. I also have epp memory and had to enable sli memory and set it to expert. But there are meny people running non-epp mamory at 1T. My ram is stock DDR2 900 and itt seems pretty stable at ddr2 890. Back the speed off a little and run memtest. It is also possible that your ram might not run at 1T...

Yeah, that was actually my follow up question is should I even expect all PC2 6400 memory to run at 1T? The more digging I do, the more I find that DDR2 memory tends to not run at 1T, so I should be too bothered by the fact that mine won't run at 2T unless I jump the voltages something fierce.
