I have never seen a single food item cost less than a few dollars. 99c for a ramen is usually a pretty good deal. Still ends up being more than a dollar after taxes. Sympathy not found.
I forget that people outside the united states have electricity/internet.
If you think Shin is spicy, I have bad news for you...Often the cheapest ramen you can get is this stuff. And it's equally cheap tasting (no flavour, bad stuff)
I personally really like this stuff, nice and spicy

I always bought the fancy Nissan cup noodles instead of the cheaper bagged kind, that's just the kind of rich and snooty gourmet I am.
Fuckin' 1%ers.

When I was first exposed to these things--I was about 6 or 7--Nissan was making "Oodles of Noodles," and they were the only kind of ramen that we could get in plastic brick packages, just like what you see today with Maruchan or whatever.
I even remember that animated ad that they ran on TV.
I thought that stuff was the food of the gods. Dad sure was happy to introduce us to fancy ramen noodles, lol.
Is this all Vietnamese?

the 'good' ones at asian supermarket are about 60-80cents each. They aren't cheap anymore.
