But you always hear about how superior the "luxury" cars are but they sure tend to break down a lot and when they do they cost a fortune. I'll take an American sports car and consider it a luxury that I'm not on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.

I'm not saying I dont generally agree with you, but this is a pretty minor issue

That seems a little unrealistic, 320-330 is probably much closer to reality without meth, on pump gas, off the shelf tune, and with stock downpipes.

My friend has a JB4 on his 2008 and if he was putting out that kind of power he'd be kicking my AMG's ass and he can't. He can pull half a length on me to 70 or so and then I reel him back in and his advantage is almost entirely in the first 60 ft because I can't get traction.

Maybe there are new maps that are better that he doesn't have, not claiming to be an N54 guru but that 375whp number seems a bit optimistic.

Intake and downpipe cars on 93 octane do between 365 and 385 depending on the dyno and conditions. Meth cars do over 400. I'm hitting somewhere around 345 to the wheels right now but if I go wider on the rear end it is because I'm adding downpipes. Also the intake on my car is good for about 15whp when tuned, if he is doing 330, 345 or so sounds about perfect.

Fo realz. I had a bad pack on my M3 a few years ago, it's a very minor issue and very cheap to fix, even though mine was covered by CPO warranty.

Mine was 30mm as well, 255 front, 285 rear. On the track, even with aftermarket suspension and a reasonably good alignment, I'm eatting the fronts.

Yeah, the 1 had no outer shoulder whatsoever when I changed the tyres last week. The toe has been altered to dial that tendancy out during the aligtnment, probably at the expense of a little turn in, but it's primarily my wife's car, and anyhow modulating rotation of the chassis with the throttle is simple in these cars!

Nice numbers, no doubt about it.

Also, glad the car is fixed, CPO FTW.

Thus far I've been spared over $1500 in repairs for my seat heater and front control arm bushings.

Depending on my Florida trip, I may get my dyno trip in next week. Car is back, JB4 is back on. So much easier the second time.
