Random Blue Screens about 4~6 hours

Hi,

I installed recently my brand new Crucial M4 128GB.
Also a fresh version of the Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

But sometimes, about 4 and 6 hours I got random blue screen and reboot almost instantly.

When I get back to the desktop I see the following mensage:

I've done memory diagnostic but it has found no error.
Temps are ok, hottest core with 50C when load.
VGA hardly ever goes over 70C

That blue screen NEVER happened while I was playing a game, it happens when I am doing "nothing".

I' installed that system yesterday, this blue screens begun today.

How would I fix it?

Memory tests don't always catch errors. Try running with one stick for a while or running through the programs listed in the stability testing thread that is a sticky in the CPU forum.

If it was working before you installed the new hdd but it's crashing now then I would say that your new hdd is faulty.

I had not any blue screens/reboots today yet.

it's stable for about 10 hours, I am not sure how but...

The only thing I did, yesterday, was pressing F8 while the startup and select: "Start with the last valid configuration" or something like that.

I also ran today the "windows error-cheking".

I ran today the Prime95 and I left it about 25 minutes, had no problem.

You can disable the auto restart after blue screen like this
Right Click on “My Computer” and goto “Properties”. Then goto the “Advanced” tab and under the headline “Startup and Recovery”, press the “Settings” button. Untick the “Automatically Restart” box and press Ok

Also if you have just installed windows it may be a driver problem! maybe the info you get from the BSOD can help identify this.

you could also try Bluescreenview which sometimes can point to possibility of a driver that could be causing it

This analyzes the crash dump file that is made anytime there is a blue screen.

probably the SSD. Put your old HD back in and see what happens.
