Hi guys, I currently am running a rig that has been operational since day 1 of sandy bridge release back in jan of this year. been running a mid oc 24/7 almost at 4.3ghz. A few days ago, I started to get a glitch and I first suspected it being uneven current from my wall as my sound and everything started hissing louder. Fast forward a few days, I re-installed windows on a new SSD intel 320 160gb that i picked up over black friday and replaced my g2 intel 120gb and have been getting instability since. I don't think thats the cause of my issue though, just its the only thing thats changed.
I'm running 2 320gig scorpio blacks in a raid 0 array right now for games. I noticed whenever I was running an application off that drive on the new install, that I would soon get a crash. Thing is however, intel raid assist hasn't shown any degredation on this raid array and I havent had any other tell-tale signs and so I'm a little bit confused as to why its acting up now. I have it unplugged & just sitting there in the mean time but this is mildly annoying because of such high hard drive prices right now. Are there any recommended protocols for me to test the health of this array? It might be helpful to know that since pulling, I haven't had any issues thus far.
