A smooth rubber conveyor belt carrying dry sand must have a maximum slope of less than 16°. For carrying moist sand the slope can be up to 20°.

The amount of air run through a Top Fuel dragster's engine in just one 1/4 mile run could fill up the Goodyear blimp.

* One dragster's 500-inch Hemi makes more horsepower then the first 8 rows at Daytona.

* Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 1 1/2 gallons of nitro per second, the same rate of fuel consumption as a fully loaded 747 but with 4 times the energy volume.

what are you talking about?

the engine is revving around 8000 rpm.

That's right 8,000 Revolutions Per MINUTE. A 1/4 mile run only lasts 4-5 seconds.

the engine is revving around 8000 rpm.

That's right 8,000 Revolutions Per MINUTE. A 1/4 mile run only lasts 4-5 seconds.
