Crazy deal. Pats will be unstoppable with Stallworth and Moss. Doesn't hurt to have Brady throwing to them, either.
That's the truth! I was thrilled when I heard about Stallworth and Thomas. Then I heard that we decided to get a good cover saftey, THEN Randy Moss?!!! <cartman> fvckin sweeeeet</cartman>Originally posted by: Whoozyerdaddy
The Pats have been rocking this off season. They definitely filled all their gaps. They're going to be scary good this year.

The team to beat is the Colts, they won it last year. You don't win on paper, or the Redskins would be perennial favorites.
New England added a lot at WR, but WR's don't get a lot of touches per game. It will depend on the OL and defense, just as football usually does. Randy Moss doesn't run block, takes plays off when it's not called to his #, and was only worth a 4th round pick. What's that say? Stallworth has the injury bug, which is what made him expendable in NO and PHI.
At the core, its still Brady, a talented OL, and Maroney. The defense has been upgraded. That's where you evaluate this team, not at WR. But the Colts have earned the right to be the team to beat.

Not going there at all .... I just hate dynasties and I prefer parity in the NFL. Its great when any team can win it all going into the playoffs.... it gives every true NFL fan hope.

Bellicheck is a genius.
I don't think the Pats will put up with his crap...there's a reason they had 2 first-rounders this year. Once they re-work the deal, I'm sure it will have a number of character clauses in it.Originally posted by: Pacfanweb

And get the Pats to the doctor, they just got cancer. (Moss)

This really sucks for the Packers... could have had him for a 3rd or 4th round pick, but Ted Thompson was not willing to take a little risk. Oh well...
