Has anyone used a telescopic downdraft range vent? I am reading a lot of similar numbers, but am still a little hesitant about going with one instead of a traditional range hood. the price is about the same for the hoods we are looking at, so that is not an issue, but my question is that if I do a lot of high heat gas cooking like stir frying and such, or if there is smoke, how will one of these work out?
