:thumbsup: Anti-Vir is good stuff. I've used it for years and never had any issues. The only thing I like about AVG is that it scans incoming e-mail and Anti-Vir does not.

Just found out how to take care of this:
AVGCC->(Double Click)Update Manager->(Disable)Display information about update process->OK.

Haven't tested it yet, but that came from a moderator on the avg forums

Hey guys

For the last week everytime AVG downloads an update it requires my computer to be re-started. What is going on?

NOD32 with AVG free (works fine) + antisuperspyware free + a-squared free + ad-aware free. . . .yes i'm super paranoid because i got a key logger a couple yrs back before i knew about malware :-(

That will get anyone paranoid. You can use KeyScrambler Personal (free) that encrypts your keystroke (at the "kernel" level) when filling out user names and passwords, before sending it to the browser. Keyloggers aren't supposedly able to intercept the original and decrypted keys.

It is an add-on for IE and extension for Firefox.
