To me metros are guys who are trying to get noticed, real men just don't care.

Personally I think Tom Selleck would be a good example of a Manly Man. Can look just as comfortable in a tux as he is in torn jeans and a cowboy hat. It's all about attitude and again, metros are "Look at me" and men are "what the f*ck you looking at?"

Also, if I hear "times are changing" again I am going to actually do some work.

i am unsure on why you find it odd that i responded to something and not to something else. not that i need an explanation or anything... but perhaps i did not read every statement by every poster... perhaps i did not find anything else worth replying to. perhaps i read one blanket statement by one poster and responded.

I find it interesting that the gay (or mostly gay) guys in here consider normal men "neanderthals". As if being gay is sophisticated, and being a straight, normal male is completely unacceptable and uncivilized.

I'm a straight guy who acts and dresses like a straight guy. That doesn't make me a neanderthal, it just makes me "not gay" and "not metro".

So far in this thread the main resistance I got was not from people considered metrosexuals, it has been from homosexuals. Call me insensitive, but I really can't take your opinion seriously. I'm not looking for better ways to act gay, sorry. If a guy takes your fashion advice, they're going to be very successful at picking up gay guys.
