*points at engineering degree* :whiste:

What is your job exactly? You post all kinds of retarded shit around here and I have no idea what your profession is. Like in that one car thread you didn't even know what size of ground wire a car has. That's something that could be checked on google in 3 seconds.

My profession is Computer Science. I maintain servers, desktops, code websites.

Are you saying as an engineer you are trusting a blog to tell you all car ground wires are 8AWG?

You serious?

Go look at one of your house wires. I assume you have holes in the walls so it shouldn't be too hard to check. Look at the wire. It will say right on it "AWG #14". All wires large enough to be printed on will say what size/type they are. All the blogger needed to do was read the text printed on the cable. Reading is really not that difficult.

In that same thread, you thought the engineers who made the G37 would put a little tiny ground wire on it that isn't good enough to drive all of the electronics on that car. They're not retarded, you know. They actually do load calculations and determine wire sizes before they start building the car.

The thing about drug tests is kind of funny. I think Gen Y overall probably did less drugs than Gen X and way less than the boomers. Stuff got expensive.

This. Most of the talented guys won't get a second look because they are filtered out by HR interviews.

The stereotype of nerds and intelligent science people being weird is a well known stereotype. Do you know why? Because it's incredibly accurate. Really bright people who understand math and computers as well as you understand English (or other language) are going to be weird. That's just the way it is. Those people tend not to do well in HR interviews. The HR person is asking retarded questions like "name a time you thought or felt that a conflict between you or another could not be easily resolved through verbal or nonverbal communication". A hardcore science nerd that thinks in assembly language has no clue wtf was asked. Is that even a real question? Pass. They fail the HR interview and you never hear from them again.

Is punching the HR person who asked you the question not the right answer?

Fortunately, HR interviews are few and far between in hospitality. Which is odd considering Corporate America accounts for most of the jobs in hospitality. I guess they discovered service oriented folks, like code monkeys, do much better with real immediate problems than made up pre programmed scenarios. It's all a game anyways, HR has no stake in your success and is just another hurdle to overcome.

Heard a comedian on XM radio the other day. His skit consisted of one liners:

"I'm good at lying. I'm going to put that on my resume'"

Please go under your hood and into your car and see how many are printed. I have used romex that has not been printed with size though.

Also no one is debating the auto maker did not put a sufficient ground in place for the factory offering. It's like saying you can hook up 110W headlights without relays, the factory had to know people may need to upgrade lighting.
