Anyhow, a girl I dated for many years was diagnosed with Lupus, and I can scarcely think of anything that can be worse than Lupus. Hell my next door neighbor had lung cancer and bounced back from that - of course I realize that there are those that don't fare so well with cancer.
Regardless, I am not trying to make out one condition to be worse than another, but I merely wanted to make a comparison for those that have never lived with anybody that has Lupus that, yes indeed, Lupus can be an absolutely awful thing to live with at times.
Knowing that his mother has Lupus and he still treats her like crap is just simply inexcusable. Besides appearing to be a prick on this forum, his attitude toward his mother suffering from Lupus most literally makes the OP a bad person.
Well assuming it's as bad as you say it is (I already knew what both of those things were), then why doesn't mom call a maid? The kids already clean up around the house and she still bitches while she sits there on her ass? They're all busy apparently and the mom isn't doing anything, having a disease isn't an excuse to scold your kids for not doing a good enough job at cleaning. They have enough money so why not get a maid as well? There isn't an excuse here, sounds like to me mommy is using her disease as an excuse to not do anything.
Yeah, and I bet thats exactly how the OP ended up with such a disrespectful attitude towards his parents. Whenever there is a problem... he probably just got used to throwing money at it.

I moved out of the financial security of my home when I was 18. I paid myself through college and housing. I lived off $1 MickeyD meals most of the days and drove around in a 10 year old 3rd hand car EVEN though my parents were well off and if I had even asked them for money, they would have been more than happy to give me as much as I wanted. Why?? Because I didn't want anything to be given to me without earning it myself because I knew that I was an adult and it was time I started acting like one. I just graduated early this year and returned home for a long vacation... and my Mom tells me to do the same exact thing... it does get annoying but guess what, I suck it up and do it and don't call MY MOM, who raised and fed me, an SOB on a public forum.
I'm sorry, but I'm just so pissed off on how someone could actually talk to their own mother like this. I've gotten pretty angry at my folks at times, BUT NEVER, have I stooped to the level of the OP. He needs to get banished from his home so he could see how the real world works ASAP.

The children have no bills to pay. Tey the parents take care of the children providing a home with food and medical care and clothing...or am I wrong in my assuming that these are things the parents do....and not the children?
