Rant: I'm hating the USPS at the moment

I didnt know the USPS delivers way way way late... I checked my mail at 6:30pm and had a textbook delivered and regular mail and i was all happy.

I come back down around 9pm and the USPS i guess came back and left another package for me on the bottom steps of my front door and didnt even knock. unfortunately the sprinkler system came on around 8:30pm and my $50 textbook got all wet!!!

So its the mailmans fault that you have an automatic sprinkler system, give the guy a break, if you wouldnt have had the sprinkler system, you would have much rather had the package today than tommorow porbably ( at least in his mind )

Sounds like he forgot to give you that package if he left you one earlier and came back for that.

Sounds like you should be happy he came back after he forgot that instead of waiting until the next day.

Yes the packaged got all wet... Media Mail


and yes is partly both USPS and my fault... still who delivers after 8pm.. first time ever... now my "textbook" will be USED harder to resell in the end.

USPS is fast but they don't put a lot of care because of the heavy load of mail

I just shipped $200 worth of textbooks for like $8 with USPS today. Nothing beats it
