*RANT* Onesuite.com is down

onesuite.com is my long distance provider.

i usually dont talk long distance for any lengthly amount of time, except today.

and of course, today onesuite.com is down for maintanance :|

so i spent 1 1/2hrs on Verizon's long distance, which is like $0.25/min. (i chose the plan with no monthly fee, since onesuite.com only costs $0.03/min.)

Murphy's Law strikes again.

and since Murphy likes to work in streaks, I'll probably lose my winning $300M lotto ticket as well.

yep, sucks for me too. Been down since 11:00pm last night for me. Stupid recording says emails will be answered in 15 minutes, I waited 12 hours and it was just a notification that they received my email and will respond within 24-48 hours. WTF?

Don't offer one thing and do another...

I've been using OneSuite for a while now... a year, maybe? I haven't had problems with them - until recently. I've lately been getting odd problems... after I dial the 800#, I might sit there for a minute before I finally get a *busy signal*. Or sometimes I call my voicemail (yes, it's long distance) using OneSuite - that's what I use it for the most. I've found that it occasionally isn't transmitting sound from my end of the connection (or perhaps its intercepting DTMF tones for some reason), because I can't log in. And a few times, I've experienced what sounds like dropped packets to me -- I assume they must be using VOIP connections.... I cannot believe that *ANY* hard connection would be that unreliable.

I'm probably going to have to go back to some other calling-card type solution.

I switched to talkloop.com ($0.02/minute in CONUS) awhile back after having problems with onesuite. So far the service has been much better.

Onesuite is also our onl long distance company. We needed to make some calls today and hooked up with voipbuster (thread in Hot Deals). It saved the day. I also emailed them and haven't heard anything from them in over 24 hours. If they went down I only lost $6.00, and I have saved much more than that by using them. Lynn

Sucks, i just recharged my onesuite account too.

.25 a minute? omg my long distance plan through Cingular is only .05 a minute. You should change phone carriers.

it's back up, sorta.

RapidPIN doesnt work.

and i think they are wrong on how much i have left. (it was like 1/2)

but i was able to make a call.

I am sticking with OneSuite too. I tried another long-distance phone service, which will remain nameless, and they pissed me off more than the outage this weekend. OneSuite has always been stellar and they have never disappointed, plus I seriously cant find another company that lets me call Asia for so cheap.

I am not even going to try another provider again. OneSuite is up to full capacity now. I don't need the hassle of figuring out another company's flaws. I am quite comfortable and it is my guess that OneSuite will be even more appreciative of its loyal customers, since any issue i had in the past was fixed immediately with rewards.
