I was hoping for some goofy electronic gadget, but I guess this is just a microwaveable plastic bowl in the shape of a ramen noodle block.

I guess a standard microwaveable container might require too much water to cover the noodles while cooking...

it's 2 for $9.99... and if you were going to be starting a ramen eating career then it might be a worthwhile investment in specialty tools for the job. also, there are probably experienced ramen eaters out there who have just not thought to upgrade their ramen prep capabilities to be current in today's complex ramen eating environment...

yeah... electric kettle is the way to go with ramen imo. or a gas stove.

Try a cubed ripe avocado in your ramen. Put it in after the ramen is otherwise ready. Cools it down, expands the meal, and tastes YUM!

Meh, you can probably go to any thrift store in my town and get a 10 pack for $1. I think this is an early adopter's fee.

nah, dumpster diving is too much like work... the 47% will settle for cutting up gov't cheese to put in and will vote in pols who will add these bowls to the next appropriations bill... i guess this kills the deal for us 1%ers... ;p

I wouldn't want to use half the water. Plus, whenever I make ramen (a few times a year), I always like to throw in an egg for a little protein so it has SOME nutritional value!
